Sunday School

Adult Sunday School: We’d love to have you join us! God calls all of us to keep growing in our faith throughout our lives, and what better way to do that than in Sunday school! We encourage you to participate.

Ark Builders, Sundays, 9:00 a.m. (in Room 22): “Savior:  What the Bible Says About the Cross

This six-session study introduces several biblically based ways of understanding Jesus’ death on the cross that may go beyond explanations you’ve heard before. By exploring the mystery of salvation through the cross, you’ll find a deeper love for God and others while strengthening your commitment to follow Jesus. This six-session study includes a book, and a DVD will be shown at the beginning of each session. The Ark Builders class will begin on Sunday, September 19th at 9:00 a.m. in Room 22. The class will start in person, but if the coronavirus protocols change, the class will be online. Joe Clark (CLM) will facilitate class discussion. Any questions, please call him at 740-654-8766. Everyone is welcome!

Faith Matters, Sundays, 10:15 a.m. (in Room 22): “Basic Bible Info

There are no stupid questions, and we probably all have more we can learn about the Bible. Whether you’ve never picked up a Bible or read yours daily for years, you may not realize some basic information about where the Bible came from, how and why the books are arranged the way they are, and other helpful information. Starting September 12, at 10:15 a.m. in Room 22, Renee Benham will lead the Faith Matters Class, focusing on “Basic Bible Info.” Class members will be invited to suggest topics/ideas for future studies. Everyone is welcome!
