NEW STUDY: A Biblical Understanding of Women   What does the Bible say about women, their place in society, and their ability to lead? Throughout the ages, many have debated what the Bible says about these topics. Pastor Alice will lead a 4-week study that digs into the Old and New Testaments to help us better understand what God says about women and their role in society and God’s kingdom. Men, women, and youth are welcome! The study will be held on Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m., on Nov. 7 & Nov. 21 (in Spirit Hall) **If you have questions or are interested, please contact Pastor Alice (alicewolfe@love-first.org or 740-653-3330).

A reminder that cyber-criminals and con artists are using more and more technology to scam people. Please know that should you ever receive an email or text from anyone on staff asking for money or gift-cards, it’s not from the staff. Should you receive an email or text or are ever in doubt, please feel free to call the church at 740-653-3330, and we will take the appropriate action. Thank you!

Just in time for holiday celebrations! Be sure to stock up on these little loaves of deliciousness—you will want to make sure you have enough to spread good cheer to your family and friends. Ham loaves are $2.50 each and come with 2 ounces of sauce. Pre-ordered ham loaves will come
pre-cooked, packaged for storage, and ready to pick up after 5:00 p.m. on November 20th at our Fellowship Dinner Thanksgiving. Stored in the freezer, ham loaves will last the entire holiday season!

Not quite the Waltons or the Ingalls Thanksgiving, but pretty tasty! This celebration only comes once a year. Join us on November 20th for a meal that would make Granny Clampett smile! Turkey with ALL the trimmings and pumpkin pie for dessert. Because of the preparation needed and popularity of this meal, reservations and cancelations MUST BE IN NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM on Monday, November 18th. We will have a limited number of “walk-in” meals available, so please make a reservation to assure a spot for you. Call Judy Kraft with any questions. We promise no Elly May biscuits!
