Join a Small Group!

One of the best ways to grow in our faith is to be in a small group with others—to study and wrestle with God’s Word with others, ask questions, learn from each other, share with each other, and pray with and for each other. First United Methodist Church offers a variety of small groups, and we invite you to check them out! If you would like to learn more about these small groups or to form a new small group that we don’t currently have, please contact the church, 740-653-3330.

Please pray about joining one of our small groups—or starting one of your own:

We’ll resume in the Fall.

GriefShare, for Times of Loss and Hurting
The participants of our recent GriefShare course, and their facilitators Rev. Ricci and Brenda Arthur, invite others to begin their own journey of healing. Whether your loved one has been gone one month or more, having the support and understanding of others on that journey can bring new perspective on grieving and living a different life after loss. Consider joining the participants and the Arthurs at an informal gathering to discover if GriefShare might be helpful to you or to someone you care about – Tuesday, May 21,  in Room 22 at 7pm.
