Lancaster First United Methodist Church is seeking a warm, creative, and mission-minded Director of Children’s Discipleship and Outreach Ministries to join a team of committed followers of Christ who love God, love people, and love serving together. This part-time (15–25 hours/week) role invites someone with a dedicated, entrepreneurial spirit and a fun-loving heart to lead the spiritual formation of children from birth through 5th grade while building meaningful connections with families and the wider Lancaster community through outreach, local missions, and school partnerships. We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership, Early Childhood Education/Development, or Social Work, or with comparable experience. The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Jesus who brings energy, organization, and hospitality to nurturing children's faith, equipping volunteers, engaging parents, and welcoming new families with the love of Christ.
