A note from the Business Office

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not parish but have eternal life. John 3:16
For God so Loved…That He Gave

This verse, that most of us know by heart, shows us the ultimate foundation for why and how we should give. First, God’s motivation was love, He so loved the world; secondly, He gave of Himself through His son Jesus, He gave sacrificially. And lastly, He gave in response to our need so we would not perish but have eternal life with Him. This Easter season, as we ponder the depth of God’s love and sacrifice in order to save us, remember His great example as we give gifts to our church. Give with love, give sacrificially, and give in response to the needs of our ministries and missions of the church.

The following are ways that you can help support our church through your monetary gifts:

  • E-Offering (ACH) is a safe way to have your giving directly deducted from your checking or savings account – contact

Thrivent Choice Program: If you are a Thrivent Benefit member you have the opportunity to give to our church through their Thrivent Choice program. The Thrivent Choice program encourages their members to recommend where Thrivent Financial distributes an amount of it’s charitable grant funds. Members make this recommendation by directing Choice dollars to enrolled nonprofit organization such as First United Methodist Church. To find out if you are able to give to the church in this way, talk to your Thrivent Financial advisor.
